The school is conveniently located in the North city centre – 500 meters from the Spire and General Post Office (GPO) on O’Connell Street, close to Connolly train station (3 minute walk), Busáras Central Station (2 minute walk), Luas (tram), Dart (light rail) and bus services. Talbot Street is a shopping area with a lot of pubs and restaurants nearby within a walking distance from major tourist and cultural attractions such as Trinity College (950 meters), Ha’ Penny Bridge (1000 meters), Board Gais Energy Theatre and the Docks area (1600 meters), Dublin Castle (1.7km), St Patrick’s Cathedral (2.3km), the Guinness Storehouse (3km).
If coming from O’Connel Bridge keep walking north until you get to the Spire, then turn right into North Earl Street which changes its name to Talbot Street at the crossing with Marlborough Street. Keep walking for 500 meters. Once you cross Gardiner Street you will see a little shop called ValuMart on the right hand side. The school is above that shop. If you cycle – there is a Dublinbikes station in Talbot Street – 30 meters from the school, in front of the SuperValue, and regular bicycle stands next to it, so you can lock your bicycle there.
If driving from Amiens Street (and Connolly Station), simply turn into Talbot Street and immediately start looking for an available parking space. If coming from Gardiner Street, turn into Frenchman’s Lane (under a railway bridge) and follow this narrow street for 150 meters until you arrive on Talbot Street. Ample on-street parking spaces are available in James Joyce Street or adjacent streets. On-street parking in the area costs 2.40 euro per hour Monday to Saturday until 7PM. It is free after 7PM Monday to Saturday.
