Conversation sessions – improve your spoken English

If you would like to improve your English speaking skills, meet new people and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of a small class, come to our conversation club on any afternoon Monday to Saturday. No prior booking is required.

Online and in-person

Our lunch-time conversation sessions are available concurrently in-person in our school as well as online on Zoom. These are two separate sessions provided by two teachers. Students who live in the Dublin area are welcome to alternate between the online and in-person mode.

Who can attend these sessions?

These conversation classes are open to both Your English students currently attending our English courses in Dublin, and to those who do not come to any other classes but would just like to focus on their speaking.

What does the speaking class look like?

Each session is based on a topic. Students are grouped according to their level and they together discuss a set of questions or pictures provided by the teacher. The teacher monitors the class, helps with some grammatical structures or vocabulary when needed. At the end of the class, students are given feedback and some of the mistakes which appeared in the discussion are presented on the whiteboard and corrected. The atmosphere of the class is very relaxed and tea, coffee and biscuits play an important role.
