Morning English classes for children follow a topic-based syllabus with a combination of interactive tasks and small projects. In this age group we do not divide students by level of English – it is a mixed ability small class for young learners (A0 to A2), with the main focus on elementary level. In order to keep children busy and interested, the teacher uses an array of engaging games, arts and crafts activities as well as drama. Most activities are held in a classroom but the teacher may also use the school sports hall, outdoor pitches or bring the class on a short excursion to a park or a museum (with the help of our friendly and experienced youth leaders – all of them are native speakers of English).

For legal, insurance and academic reasons this is not possible. Parents or guardians drop their chidren off before the start of the classes and collect them once the classes come to an end. Please rest assured the children are in a safe environment and taken care by experienced teachers and staff who are friendly, professional and police-vetted. Please note the school runs adult classes in parallel with the junior programmme – parents and guardians are most welcome to attend these classes.
Depending on when you contact us and your requirements the school might be able to arrange the stay at one of the accommodation partners that we collaborate with. Please contact us for details.
We usually do not arrange an afternoon or weekend programme for families but we will be more than happy to give you some ideas and tips. For legal and insurance reasons no adults (except for staff) cannot participate in Saturday trips that we offer as a part of the programme for teenagers (participants aged 12 to 18)
The Young Learners programme is a mixed ability class and in principle we do not run any level assessment for this age group before the commencement of the programme however we can arrange one on request.
Our classes are small (4-12 students) so all participants receive a lot of individual attention regardless of their level of English. Teachers encourage communication through games, role-play and little projects which let young learners build confidence in using English and motive them to speak with their classmates. Many young learners do not speak English on arrival. We help them unlock their passive knowledge of English which they have learnt in school, through games and TV so that they can start putting it into practice. This has a tremendous motivational effect on the students.
Yes! All children receive a course completion certificate on their last day
Yes! We provide classes all year round however we do not run any group online classes specifically for children. Private one-to-one or two-to-one classes (siblings / friends) can be arranged – please contact us for more details.
Our carefully designed syllabus guarantees that participants progress in all four areas of language: speaking, writing, reading, and listening. We know how to teach foreign languages to teenagers in an exciting way. We aim to keep students’ motivation high and never let them get bored. They work on projects, play games and act at the same time learning complex grammar, expanding their vocabulary and building up their confidence in English. Teachers who work on our summer courses not only have a many years experience of teaching English to teenagers but also a lot of enthusiasm, energy and creativity essential in working with young people. They know how to let them enjoy the classes and progress in English at the same time.
